Living Hope’s Children’s Ministry
Our Mission:
To support parents in helping their children develop a strong faith in Jesus Christ (and to encourage a loving relationship with Him). To that end, we will help children grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and discover how they are special to Him.
Children ages kindergarten to 5th grade love our “Promiseland” children’s ministry that takes place during both the 9:00am and 10:30 am service. Promiseland uses the BibleVenture Centers rotational learning curriculum. In a rotational learning setting, each week the children rotate to a different station: Joyful Noise, Games & Music, Storytellers Tent, Sunrise Cafe and How Great Thou Art Gallery.
Our Goal:
Our goal is for children to really become comfortable with looking up the lessons in their own Bibles. We encourage them to bring their bibles with them each week and to highlight them etc.
Our Policy:
Some simple rules have been put into place to help parents and teachers plant the seeds of faith in kid's lives:
1. Bring your Bible.
2. Be respectful in words and actions to teachers and classmates.
What it means to be respectful with words:
Use positive kind words.
Use please and thank you.
Bathroom words stay in the bathroom.
Don’t use cut-downs or call names.
What it means to be respectful with actions:
Keep your hands to yourself.
Raise hand to speak.
Wait until called upon to speak.
No roughhousing.
God has truly bless Living Hope with faithful and committed volunteers who are prepared to welcome your child with open arms, and provide them with a loving and nurturing learning environment. This is a place where they will learn and embrace the Bible and Christ's teaching in their daily lives.
